Anne Reece, or "Annie Ukulele" as she is known to her friends, has lived in Hawaii for 35 years and raised her two daughters in Kona. If you know Annie then you likely also know her sidekick Kirby, the Sheltie with a heart of gold.
Anne has owned and operated Just Ukes since 2004. For the past 17 years she has been turning customers to friends with her love of Hawaii, her love of music, her boisterous laugh and her unwavering aloha spirit. This woman has never met a stranger!
You can catch Anne and Kirby at the Just Ukes storefront or cruising around town in Anne's truck, also known as the "Uke-mobile." If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and say hi!
If you are not in the neighborhood, or anywhere near the neighborhood, you are more likely to meet Anne's youngest daughter, Sarah. Sarah grew up in Kona but she now lives in Southern California with her husband, Brandon. You can take the girl out of the islands, but you can't take the islands out of the girl! Her aloha spirit remains solidly in tact and she, like her mother, loves a good laugh.
If you know Sarah, then you likely also know her BFFs/twin nephews, Adrian and Emilio. She is just your typical, obsessed auntie. Sarah's primary profession is teaching but she has recently signed on to run her mom's online sales and shipping services, so if you find yourself in need of online assistance, she's your girl!
